The closest airport is Charles de Gaulle (1h15 from the venue). There are direct ubers to the venue if you would like to arrive directly. You can also rent a car through various services. Otherwise, we recommend arriving and visiting Paris before or after the wedding. Recommendations can be found on the "Things to do" page.

Traveling Internationally & Airport Travel

Public transport is limited in the region so we recommend traveling by car, or using Uber. Uber runs well in the region as needed. For the ceremony, we'll be coordinating a carpool amongst guests (coming soon) to get everyone from your accomodation to the ceremony, and to the reception at L'Abbaye du Trésor. ﻿For the evening, we will have a shuttle/taxi service in the evening after the party to take you back to your individual accommodation in groups.

Travel/Visite

The Vexin is a protected natural park just north-west of Paris, with rolling fields, orchards and chalk cliffs overlooking the Seine, sprinkled with stone villages, farmsteads and small châteaux. It’s an area that inspired many Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painters. from Monet in Vétheuil to Daubigny, Pissarro, Cézanne, Van Gogh and others in the nearby Oise valley. Visitors can wander through “villages of painters” like La Roche-Guyon. officially listed among the most beautiful villages in France. or Vétheuil on a bend of the Seine, follow riverside and clifftop walking trails, or simply enjoy long lunches on sunny terraces.

Vexin Nature Park

Auvers-sur-Oise is a small village on the Oise river, famous as the place where Vincent van Gogh spent the last months of his life and painted some of his most iconic works, including The Church at Auvers and Wheatfield with Crows. Visitors can stroll through the streets and countryside he painted, visit the church and the Auberge Ravoux where he lived, and pay their respects at the simple hilltop cemetery where Vincent and his brother Theo are buried, or enjoy a walk through the French gardens at the 17th century manor Château d'Auvers.
